We regret to announce that due to personal circumstances, Irvine Welsh is no longer able to attend the WORD Christchurch Festival.
All ticket holders to ‘Irvine Welsh: Trainspotting to Dead Men’s Trousers’, Friday 31 August at Isaac Theatre Royal will be contacted directly by Ticketek to receive a full refund.
Updated information on a replacement for Irvine Welsh in the events ‘Mortification’ and ‘Disunited Kingdom’ on Saturday 1 September will be notified on the website. He will not be replaced on ‘The Neu! Ōtautahi! Incident!’
Irvine is disappointed not to be able to come and we hope to welcome him to Christchurch in the not too distant future. We wish him all the best.
