Kaveh Akbar: Calling a Wolf a Wolf

WORD Christchurch, in association with LitCrawl Wellington, is proud to present Kaveh Akbar for an evening of poetry and conversation with Erik Kennedy.

Kaveh Akbar is an Iranian-American poet making waves internationally with his performances and with his collection Calling a Wolf a Wolf. His award-winning work has appeared in multiple prestigious publications, including The New Yorker, The New York Times, Tin House, Best American Poetry 2018, The New Republic, the Guardian, Ploughshares and the Harvard Review. He also founded DiveDapper, a poetry interview site, featuring conversations with some of the most exciting poets working in the world today.
